Fabio Morábito

Fabio Morábito was born in Alexandria, Egypt, of Italian parents and moved to Mexico City at age 15. Since 1985 he has published books of poetry, short stories, and essays. His several awards include the Carlos Pellicer Prize for his first poetry collection, Lotes baldíos. Most recently he has translated into Spanish the collected poems of Italo Calvino.
